DRIVER FATIGUE MANAGEMENT
Our driver fatigue management program has been designed specifically with an objective of ensuring the safety of our drivers and the community. Our drivers have dedicated work tasks and enjoy standard work hours and time with their families for rest and relaxation. Before each trip, our drivers undergo a fatigue assessment to ensure they are fit and ready to work.
We are committed to safe, compliant & efficient warehousing and transportation operations. You can be confident that your products are handled at least as good as, if not better than you would handle them through every stage of the cold chain & delivery process. We are accredited for every stage of the cold-chain process nationally.
Our technology systems & processes allow for performance data on every aspect of the cold chain under our control and supervision. From the time we receive the product to the point of delivery - data is logged at every step. This reporting information is particularly useful when a consignment has been rejected by your receiver and you can demonstrate that it has travelled within ideal temperature parameters.
Karras takes its responsibilities on risk various seriously. Our Risk Management system includes everything from our culture that is built around safety and compliance, through to policies, procedures, audits, WH&S, datalogging, reporting and regular training of staff on risk obligations.

Occasionally you will have a problem with your consignment and it has led to an unsuccessful delivery. There are a multitude of reasons for this outcome and it is extremely important that communication quickly takes place so that a Plan B is underway as soon as possible. We have developed a unique system of communication that can minimise the impact of non-conforming deliveries on your business and help enhance relationships with your customers.
